Biden Urges Private Companies To Implement COVID Vaccine

Biden wants private companies and institutions to introduce vaccine mandates with the approval of the Pfizer vaccine.

On Monday, President Biden urged the citizens of Americans to get their shot of vaccination at the earliest. As the number of cases across the United States is increasing at an enormous rate, the Biden administration is taking necessary steps to restrict the spread of contagious Delta Variant. The approval from the Food and Drug Administration for the Pfizer vaccine is one of the milestone achievements.

Biden Urges Private Companies To Implement COVID Vaccine

Biden said, “Today I’m calling on more companies in the private sector to step up the vaccine requirements that will reach millions of more people.” He added, “If you’re a business leader, a nonprofit leader, a state or local leader who has been waiting for full FDA approval to require vaccinations, I call on you now to do that and require it.”

Pfizer is the first company to receive full approval from the FDA.  Following the approval and grant the vaccine shot will be marketed as “Comirnaty”.

Biden Urges Private Companies To Implement COVID Vaccine

Biden emphasized the fact that it only makes sense to stop the contagious spread of the Coronavirus with the vaccine shots. He requested people to support the vaccination drives happening across the states.

For the past few months, the Biden administration has been working day in and day out to increase and meet the vaccine requirements. He and his government have continually shied away from the concept of a nationwide vaccine requirement. The private companies are requested to encourage vaccination and make their vaccine mandates.

Referencing an announcement made in the month of July Biden quotes, “Do what I did: Require your employees to get vaccinated or face strict requirements.” Following the announcement that federal workers will be required to attest their COVID vaccination or undergo several necessary mitigation measures such as wearing masks as well as regular testing.

Biden during his announcement on Monday also said that those people who were reluctant to take their vaccination until the vaccine gets full FDA approval should now get their vaccine shots. “So let me say this loudly and clearly: If you’re one of the millions of Americans who said that they will not get the shot until it has full and final approval of the FDA, it has now happened. The moment you’ve been waiting for is here,” he said.

Biden also said that the vaccination rate is increasing and more and more citizens are getting vaccinated. More vaccine shots are administered last week with more than 1 million shots were given in consecutive three days.

Biden while talking about the declining curve of the Covid infections addressed the citizens and quoted, “While we’re starting to see initial signs that cases may be declining in a few places, nationwide cases are still rising, especially among the unvaccinated.” He urged people to get their vaccination shot to safeguard themselves from the contagious spread of coronavirus. The best way to control the surge in covid infection cases is by getting the maximum population vaccinated, Said Biden.
