The county executive said that there was a necessity for high vaccination drives so that the spread can be slowed down. The requirement for vaccines in Missouri has unexpectedly increased in recent weeks. So far,  there was an increase in statewide vaccination that should help in slowing down the virus spread.

There was an upward trend in the number of shots administered in these states where it was hard hit.  The total number of cases all over the nation is spreading rapidly. This has been comparatively higher than the number of cases reported during the last wave hit.

The CDC report shows that the administration of first dose vaccines has been increased than the average number. They have focused on vaccinating youngsters aged 12 to 17 by 20% and adults by 25%

It’s been 5 consecutive days since there was an administration of more than 700,000 doses to help stop the surge of spread.

The public has been in grief and it may be due to a dangerous delta variant. The county executive urges people to take every measure and opt for vaccinations before their community is hit hard by the virus. This would prevent them from any possible spreading of the virus. The Missouri vaccination drive would protect the residents by September, as the antibodies take two weeks to adapt to the body. Since more people lost their lives during the previous spread of the virus, they do not want to see a similar case of increase in fatalities.

During the last couple of weeks in July, states had begun their vaccination drives to make sure everyone had taken at least 1 shot of the vaccine. Their administration of vaccines was about 100% in the 14 states where they saw a spike in cases. Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama were the states that had more vaccines administered. They have the highest weekly case rates per capita. Louisiana had the highest spike with around 335% of vaccination rates of the first dose. Arkansas had an increase of 193% in vaccinations among adults and youngsters. People can see an increase in fatalities. This has been affected people who have never taken their first dose of vaccine. The risk of not vaccinating can put them in a strange situation. Seeing many people die around has prompted Americans to get vaccinated.  If every individual is sensible enough to take necessary action, the spread of this precarious outbreak can be stabilized.

Officials say that the delta variant has been spreading rapidly than the previous versions of the virus. More people have to realize the importance of getting vaccinated so that the pandemic can be well controlled.

Out of the total cases reported after the delta variant was spotted among residents, 8 out of 10 people are infected by the virus. This means that the virus has spread at a meteoric rate.

Since mid of June, the number of total cases in the United States in a day was more than 70,000 new cases per day. On Friday, they had seen 100,00 new cases of people infected by the delta variant. This has been a higher rate when compared to previous records in 6 months. States with a low vaccination rate have noticed a surge in the number of cases. This has been something higher than it was in the winter or spring.

If there is a shortage of vaccines, unvaccinated people must ensure to follow preventive measures like wearing a mask or social distancing. If they don’t care about vaccinating when it’s available and are not ready to wear a mask or keep a distance, they will surely have to pay a price for it.
