Chloe Kim was born on 23rd April 2000 at Long Beach, California, USA. Her parents raised her. Jong Jin Kim and Boran Yun Kim. She also has two sisters, Erica and Tracy. Kim’s parents hail originally from South Korea. Kim’s father Jong Jin Kim was her greatest snowboarding advocate.

Kim has said that her father would drag her to the mountains at the age of four to snowboard. Her father came into the USA at the age of 1982, from South Korea and did minimum wages.
