MIDLAND, Michigan, Aug. 23, 2022 /CSRwire/ — For the sixth consecutive year, Dow (NYSE: DOW) has the highest score on the Disability Equality Index® (DEI), the world’s most comprehensive comparison tool for the Fortune 1000. and Am Law 2001 measuring the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace.
This means that the company is again one of the “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” in 2022. The ranking is conducted jointly by Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD).

The DEI survey measures key performance indicators in the areas of culture, leadership, accessibility, work practices, community engagement, support services, and supplier diversity. The participating companies self-reported on their disability policies and practices and were rated on a scale of zero to 100.
As of 2022, more than 400 companies, including 69 Fortune 100, 188 Fortune 500, and 227 Fortune 1000 companies, used the DEI to assess their disability inclusion efforts.
