Elden Ring: How To Beat Miranda The Blighted Bloom

The solution to Miranda the Blighted Bloom is to go strong and try not to prolong the fight any longer than necessary – a somewhat daunting strategy for attrition-focused builds, yes, but the good news is that Miranda pretty quickly sets the right tools. Fire- and slam-like physical damage work well against it. However, you should bring at least +5 upgraded weapons to deal significant damage.

Miranda only has three main attacks: the inevitable Toxic Mist, a very fast downward strike, and an AOE attack that shimmers the ground around the player before raining down beams of light and dealing massive damage. These latter two attacks can’t be parried, but are easily dodged – just watch out for Miranda’s telegraph craning his head and jump out of every sparkle around your feet.

Neutralizing boluses or the Cure Poison spell can help with debuff build-up. Alternatively, mix a Wondrous Physick with a Crimsonburst Crystal Tear for a powerful regeneration that outperforms continuous poison ticks. It’s worth noting that a well-timed swipe with a torch will disrupt Miranda’s attacks, allowing you to bypass the poison entirely.

Choose your antidote, equip slashing or firearms, and give Leroy Jenkins the full load. You will be rewarded with a stamina-boosting amulet for your efforts in weed-killing.
