Elite season 5
Netflix Elite Season 5 was renewed in January 2020 along with Season 4. Filming ended on December 22, 2020. It was released on April 8, 2022. They were filmed back-to-back with the fourth season. Filming began in February 2021 and wrapped in June. On February 25, 2021, Netflix officially announced that the series had been renewed for a fifth season. The renewal news came ahead of the release of Elite’s fourth season.
Season 5 begins a month after Ari’s attempted murder and Armondo’s heinous murder. Tensions in Las Encinas are at an all-time high as Principal Benjiman imposes stricter measures on the school in the wake of Ari’s attack. In response to his new rules, the students beat him, but face dire consequences such as being kicked out.
Rebe and Mencía are together, but they have to work out their differences, just like Samuel and Ari. Due to Gùzman and Ander’s absence, two new students, Isidora and Ivan, transfer to the school to fill in their footsteps. Outside of school, a new mysterious crime emerges, with the police suspecting Principal Benjiman of murdering Armando when his body floats out of the river. 2 new students join the school to replace Gùzman and Ander who left to travel around Europe.

Who are the cast of Elite Season 5?
Itzan Escamilla as Samuel “Samu” Garcia
Samuel is a charismatic student from Las Encinas repeating his senior year after being expelled from school just days before graduation. He helped cover up Armando’s death at the end of the previous season, but will that haunt him again?
While Escamilla is best known for her role in Elite, the 23-year-old has also appeared in Seis Hermanas, Cable Girls and The Idhun Chronicles, among other Spanish series.
Omar Ayuso as Omar Shanaa
Omar was a San Esteban alumnus who transferred to Las Encinas in Season 3 to finish his senior year. Omar struggled with his sexuality as a child, growing up in a strictly Muslim household and eventually moving out to live with his boyfriend Ander.
Omar Ayuso is best known for his role in Elite, but he has also appeared in shows such as El Continental and the music videos of Rosala and Carolina Durante.
Claudia Salas as Rebeka “Rebe” Parrilla
Rebeka was introduced in season two as a new student at Las Encinas. After Samu, her boyfriend at the time, hid a listening device in her house, her mother was arrested by the police for drug dealing in season three. She broke up with Samu and was kicked out of school after dealing drugs, but she returned in Season 4 to repeat her senior year. She, along with Samu and Guzmán, helped cover up Armando’s death at the end of the previous season.
Claudia Salas is best known for her roles in Elite and Elite Short Stories, both about Guzmán and Omar. Other Spanish dramas she has appeared in are The Plague, Danna Paola: Oye Pablo and CRAKSm Rifkin’s Festival.
Georgina Amoros as Cayetana “Caye” Grajera
Cayetana was a scholarship student at Las Encinas in Season 2 and is now the school’s caretaker. Despite coming from a poor family, she initially pretended to be a wealthy student in order to fit in. She was dating Polo at the time and covered up his murder of Marina, but when they broke up she covered up his death as a suicide.
Georgina Amorós has starred in Spanish TV shows such as Locked Up, Welcome to the Family and Velvet and will star in Woody Allen’s film Rifkin’s Festival.
Carla Diaz as Ariadna “Ari” Blanco
Ari is Patrick’s twin sister and a student at Las Encinas. She is competitive, perfectionist and rule-abiding, which is the polar opposite of her brother.
Carla Daz is a Spanish actress who has starred in shows such as Madres Amor y Vida, Seis Hermanas, El Principe, Tierra de Lobos and La caza Monteperdido.
Martina Cariddi as Mencia Blanco
Mencia is the youngest child of the Commerford family and sister to twins Ari and Patrick. She is the wild child who constantly disregards her parents.
“The Invisible Guardian”, “While at War”, “La Tarotista” and “Cuéntame” are among Cariddi’s best-known works.
Manu Rios as Patrick Blanco
Patrick is a Las Encinas college student who is hedonistic, whimsical, and seductive. He is Ari’s twin brother and caught the attention of Omar and Ander in season four, with whom he entered into a polygamous relationship.
Manus Rios has previously appeared in Pepe’s Beach Bar and Spanish talent shows such as TS Que Vales and Cántame Cómo Pasó but this is his first major acting role. His YouTube videos are also well known.
Pol Granch as Phillipe von Triesenberg
Triesenberg is a student in Las Encinas and a prince – he is the only heir to the throne of a Central European principality.
Pol Granch is a Spanish musician who made it to the finals of The X Factor Spain. Elite will be his first acting role
Valentina Zenere as Isadora Artiñán
From a new season trailer clip released by Netflix, Isadora is revealed to be a spoiled Instagram star with 1.2 million followers.
Zenere is best known for his roles in the Disney Channel series Soy Luna and Juacas.
André Lamoglia as Ivan Carvalho
Not much is revealed about Iván, except that he is the son of the most famous footballer in the world.
Lamoglia is best known for starring opposite Zenere in Disney Channel’s Brazilian surfing series Juacas.
Carloto Cotta as Cruz Carvalho
Cruz Carvalho is introduced as Iván’s father and as the world’s greatest footballer.
You may have seen Cotta in Diamantino, Frankie and You Won’t Be Alone.
Adam Nourou as Bilal
Bilal is introduced as a main character in season 5, although not much is known about his character, he was seen as a homeless man that Omar supported.
You may not have seen Adam Nourou anywhere as Elite is his first acting role in his career.
Diego Martin as Benjamin Blanco
Benjamín is the newly appointed director of Las Encinas and one of the most powerful businessmen in Europe. He is the main villain in Season 5 of the series. He came with the baton from Azucena with a very different leadership and teaching philosophy.
You may have seen Diego Martin in Spanish prime time TV series such as Policías, en el corazón de la calle; Aquí no hay quien viva, Hermanos y Detectives and Velvet.
