Jack Del Rio teased a lot of people with his comments today.
It all started with a tweet Monday, in which the 59-year-old questioned why the 2020 riots that followed the killing of George Floyd weren’t being investigated with the same enthusiasm as the January 2021 attack on the Capitol went.
Would love to understand the “full story” why the heat of the rioting, looting, arson and destruction of private property is never discussed, isn’t it???#common sense

Del Rio was questioned about the tweet during a press conference on Wednesday.
“Let’s get straight to the point,” Del Rio said. “What did I ask? A simple question – when we talk about it, why don’t we pay attention to these things? Why don’t we investigate these things? Because it’s hard for me to say, I see it realistically – I see pictures on television, people’s livelihoods are being destroyed. Businesses are burned down – never mind. And then we have dust in the Capitol where nothing burns. And we’re going to make a big deal out of it.”
Commander defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio:

Doug Baldwin Jr. didn’t like what he said.
The former Pro Bowl WR will soon take to Twitter and branded Del Rio “ignorant” for those comments.
“Jack Del Rio is an ignorant, ignorant person. And that’s as loving and respectful as I can express,” Baldwin tweeted.

His comments come as the House Select Committee prepares for a hearing this week to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the United States Capitol.
“I think it’s two standards,” Del Rio continued. “And if we apply the same standard and treat each other fairly, then let’s talk about it. That’s all. let’s discuss We are Americans. Let us talk about it.” “
On January 6, the rebellion in the Capitol resulted in the deaths of five people and the wounding of many others.
