After giving birth to her son Ander last year, the 27-year-old singer described how she suffered three miscarriages before the age of 24. My body couldn’t complete the pregnancy on its own, and I couldn’t do it without medical intervention. I could risk getting sepsis. I cried during the process. I was afraid for myself and I was helpless. I really wanted to end the pregnancy that was threatening my life,” she explained emotionally.
He said, “How odd that while my own heart would be nothing more than a series of involuntary movements on an operating table, a beating heart in my stomach could mean I wouldn’t agree to save my life.”

“Many people have asked me why, after giving birth after years of struggle, I’ve reconsidered my stance on abortion. The answer is clearly no. In fact, I’ve thought about it. Never felt stronger. My abortion saved my life and made room for my son to be her. Everyone has the right to choose when, how and if he or she has this dangerous and life-changing experience. I will hold the son in one hand and fight with the other with all my might,” she concluded in a powerful statement.
However, Halsey wasn’t the only public figure who had strong opinions of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision. celebrities like the mother of Jesus, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and more have also shared their devastation and despair via their social media accounts. “I’m scared for my daughters. I fear for all women in America. I’m absolutely terrified,” Madonna announced on her Instagram account.
