NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hellbizz, Inc. (Nasdaq: HLBZ) is expanding its micro-mobility operations in the United States. Tampa, Fla. will join Hellbiz’ growing list of U.S. cities, and the company will expand its fleet in Flint. , Michigan and Miami Lakes, Florida.
After a competitive process, Hellbiz was selected as the new provider for Tampa’s micro-mobility program, replacing the existing operators. First, HellBiz will be allowed to launch 1,500 e-scooters equipped with sidewalk detection that uses onboard computer vision and AI to make shared scooter rides safer. In addition to the standing e-scooter, Hellbiz will also offer two different adaptive vehicles: a three-wheeled seated scooter and a wheelchair attachment, offering riders a wide range of safe, accommodating and reliable modes of transportation.
In Miami Lakes, an area where HellBiz has been operating since 2021, the company is doubling and upgrading its fleet with the latest version of its e-bike, which features the latest GPS technology that enables no-ride zones and can detect slow movement. In Flint, Helbiz will relaunch and expand its e-scooter and e-bike fleet in collaboration with Kuhmute, a multi-modal micro-mobility charging network. In addition, Hellbiz vehicles will also be available on the University of Michigan-Flint campus to provide safe and sustainable transportation options for students and teachers.
