Halo Fan has brought the Master Chief, the Spartan hero of the UNSC, to life in an incredibly accurate 2-meter-tall 3D-printed statue.
auraThe Master Chief of Ka is one of the most recognizable characters in gaming, and one fan can now claim he has a homely life-size statue of the protagonist.
Reddit user u/GalacticArmory recently took to r/Gaming, the video games subreddit, to show off his life-size Master Chief statue. In the picture, GalacticArmory is standing next to the statue to give a sense of scale, and of course Master Chief is slightly taller than his normal person-sized creator. Later in the same thread, GalacticArmory gives some additional details about its incredibly impressive statue. He says the build is modeled after a 1:6 scale sculpture of the character, which is 600% the size and was printed using the LuBan 3D printing program. Unlike the Master Chief’s game-accurate titanium alloy armor, this model is made from a slightly more economical and less durable 3D-printed PLA filament. While it’s probably cheaper than actual Spartan armor (and the years it took to train some poor orphans to fight for the UNSC), it still apparently bumps Galactic Armory by around $835 in production costs. was.
While the Master Chief statue is incredibly impressive, this isn’t GalacticArmory’s first foray into 3D printing auraIn fact, he runs an entire website dedicated to printing and selling models and files of guns and armor pieces. aura, war of stars and similar properties. The Master Chief statue is a bit too big to be listed for sale on the website, but aura Fans can still get their hands on some weapons and helmets from the series.
