Karachi – Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) will organize a “Best of Entrepreneurship Pakistan (BOE)” session in Karachi. The theme of the event is E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship in Pakistan and will highlight the challenges faced by the industry and opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
The goal of the BOE program is to share entrepreneurial trends and stories that will shape the future of e-commerce in the country. The audience includes technical and vocational education and training (TVET) with a focus on e-commerce, university students, aspiring entrepreneurs and enthusiasts.
“ICCIA’s mandate is to grow and develop the private sector of the Muslim world. Increasing our companies’ involvement in global supply chains. Supporting “resilience” and “sustainability” in the context of resilient and sustainable economies. And only if there is a strong private sector that creates jobs and supports multiple socio-economic goals, as well as increases the country’s productive capacity,” said Ms. Alia Jaffer, Director of International Relations, Islamic Chamber of Commerce. Trade, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) said the BoE.
Prominent figures including Mr. Haider Zameen, Deputy Director of TDAP and Vice Chairman of FPCCI will be present at the BoE.
Notable names from the technology and e-commerce industries such as Mr. Hamza Abdul Rauf, co-founder and director of Telemart, Dr. Sara Saeed Khurram, Co-Founder and CEO Sehat Kahani, and Mr. Arif Lakhani, Co-Founder of Qust Bazaar will share his experiences and challenges encountered on his journey with the audience of Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Professor and Dean of the School of Business Studies (SBS), IBA will also be present on the occasion.
The session will take place on September 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Department of Business Administration, IBA-City Campus, Karachi.
