To help shoppers navigate this week’s finds assortment, chef and influencer Bobby Parrish took to Instagram to share his favorite finds.
Bobby, who goes by FlavCity on social media, is a grocer who regularly offers advice to shoppers at Aldi and other popular stores.
Her goal is to educate people about certain nutritional aspects of their food so they can save money and stay healthy.
In an Instagram clip, Bobby recommends four budget and diet-friendly Aldi finds that shoppers should keep an eye on this week.
1. Grass-Fed Ghee
Bobby’s first recommendation was a bottle of grass-fed ghee that cost $9.99.
According to Healthline, ghee is clarified butter, which has a healthier fat content than regular butter.
Bobby said that anyone who is casein or lactose intolerant can eat ghee as it contains non-dairy butterfat.
He said it works especially well with scrambled eggs.
2. Palm rice hearts
For a keto-friendly dish, Bobby recommends Palmini’s rice.
The Aldi store where Bobby shopped was charging $2.69 for a 12-ounce bag of rice.
He reports that the side dish is low in carbohydrates and provides two grams of fiber per serving.
“High-fiber foods are prebiotics, they feed your gut bacteria,” Bobby said.
3. Acai Superfruit Pack

Next, Bobby recommends buying the Simple Nature Acai Superfruit Pack.
Acai is high in antioxidants, making it a popular healthy choice for smoothies and bowls.
Specifically, Bobby’s is urging shoppers to look for a sugar-free version that doesn’t contain any added sugar.
On the other hand, the standard acai pack contains 12 grams of added sugar.
Each 14 ounce pack is only $3.99.
4. Organic Chicken Sausage

For her last recommendation, Bobby looked for another product from Aldi’s own brand Simply Now.
Two flavors were available: Green Chili and Barbecue Seasoned.
Both are made with organic ingredients and cost $4.89 per 12-ounce pack.
“Best in class sausage and best in class award,” said Bobby.
