Police Inspector General Osman Kshar Baba has ordered the deployment of a watertight security system to cover all schools, hospitals, healthcare workers and critical national infrastructure amid rising insecurity in the country.
This was hinted at in a statement provided to journalists in Abuja on Sunday by Olumuywa Adejobi, the Armed Forces Public Relations Officer, FPRO, CSP.
According to the statement, “the IGP ordered unified regular patrols, wiretaps and searches, raids and crackdowns on crime and crime registered in certain states of the Federation by strategic commanders.”
It said the IGP provided direction while reviewing the country’s overall security situation through reports from commands and formations across the country.
It added that the IGP has, however, assigned strategic police managers at various levels the task of prioritizing the use of intelligence networks, particularly traditional/local intelligence agencies, to track the whereabouts of criminals and evade a strike. assigned.
