An insurance company has filed a lawsuit against Offset, one of the founding members of Migos, in connection with a car accident in Encino, California that occurred almost two years ago.

Mercury Insurance Company filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. The company accuses the Atlanta native of car negligence.

The accident happened on November 11, 2020 near US 101 Highway.

According to Radar Online, “Klout” was driving the chart-topping 2018 Dodge Charger when he met Silvestre Cruz Gutierrez, who was driving his 2019 Honda Civic.

Mercury Insurance Company covers it.

A woman named Maria Salina López was in the car with Gutierrez. The insurance company claims that the accident was caused by the driver’s fault and/or negligence.

The insurance company further stated that the vehicle and the celebrity rapper were not insured.

“The insurance policy, which includes the collision coverage described above, insures Honda for permanent damage,” Mercury Insurance said in the lawsuit, adding that Gutierrez’s car was “damaged, destroyed, canceled, reduced in value and required repair and towing costs.” . ” was quoted in. from $10,605.73.”

It continued, “Honda owners were stripped of the use of their said vehicle for their $1,090.27 damages.”

According to the Mercury Insurance Company, Lopez suffered severe physical injuries and emotional distress, “all of which caused and continue to cause tremendous physical and mental pain and suffering, resulting in temporary and permanent disability and loss of earning capacity.” The damage has occurred that caused the loss of earnings and is required to be liable for medical expenses and other special damages.”

As a result, Mercury Insurance said it paid Lopez $15,000 for the policy, adding that they paid $26,696 with the policyholder — and the rapper wants to pay it back.

They want to be fully reimbursed and are also suing for interest.
