Spices Barbershop Owner Trevor Spice and PCED Office Manager Kristin Shilt.
A new barber shop opens in Paulding, OH. Trevor Spice, entrepreneur and owner of Spice’s Barbershop, is a recipient of a small business support loan from the Paulding County Office of Economic Development (PCED). The fund was made possible by the Paulding County Area Foundation and was set up to support small businesses in Paulding County.
Spice met with the PCED office and gave them the equipment requirements for their new store which will be located at 208 N. Williams St. in Paulding. PCED was able to provide the Small Business Assistance Loan Opportunity. Spice applied and was accepted as a loan recipient to help them start their new business.
Kristen Schilt, head of Paulding County’s Economic Development Office, said, “Having small business programs makes Paulding County more business-friendly. This program is made possible by Ohio MeansJobs, Spice and other companies along with our marketing endorsement program. We’re excited to open Spice’s hair salon later this year and see a young grad from Paulding County bring his talents back to the area, huh. ”
After graduating from the College of Barbering Arts, Speice’s Barbershop plans to open in December and offer haircuts and shaving services to men of all ages. You can find Spice’s barbershop on Instagram at speice.cuts or call Trevor at 419-796-0100 to become a new customer.
