Pokemon’s final returning champions are hyped in a newly released poster from a popular Japanese magazine.
Pokémon Journeys brings back some of the key players in the worldwide Coronation Series. This exciting news came from the release of special new posters in Japan. This has hyped the eventual return of these champions, Steven and Alain. They will also take part in the final round.
The series is preparing for its final climatic tournament, which will feature the best players from around the world. Ash Ketchum will face off against many of the players he has previously matched in the Pokemon series as he climbs the ranks of the tournament.
Pokemon’s final returning champions in the tournament
The master class of the worldwide coronation series finally includes Ash as one of the members of the master eight in the most recent installment. This group consists of the eight best Pokémon trainers in the world. Some returning champions will also be included and have been hinted at with the release of the new posters in Japan by Pash Magazine.
We saw Steven and Alain with their Pokémon as part of the final lineup for the tournament. Other implied players are Leon as Monarch, Cynthia as ranked second, and Lance as ranked 4.
Alain and Steven will return to the anime as the sixth and third master class trainers. Steven will represent Hoenn as Hoenn’s Champion. However, there is still speculation about Alain’s return as he will not represent Kalos as Kalos’ champion. Because this position is already occupied by Dianthe, who is fifth in the Master Class. Alain being the only non-champion in the tournament is an unexpected twist in the series. However, excitement is brewing among fans as Ash and Alain could get their long-awaited rematch.
Pokemon Journeys World Coronation Series
The new iteration of Pokémon Journeys was the most exciting in the series as Ash had traveled the world. He does this with his newest companion, Goh. On his travels he meets old friends and fights old enemies. He also explores every last region introduced in the anime so far.
The finals tournament is no exception, as Ash reverts to old champions as he rises in rank. The tournament is divided into four tiers; Normal Class, Big Class, Ultra Class and Master Class. Additionally, regardless of ability, Trainers start at Normal Tier and rise to compete with other Trainers at higher ranks as they advance in the competition.
The eight best trainers from the Master Class compete against each other in a finals tournament and the winner receives the title “Monarch”. Leon holds the current title of Monarch, he is the Pokémon Champion of Galar. Ash decides to compete in the World Coronation Series in hopes of winning an official rematch with Leon to help him achieve more in his goal of becoming a Pokémon Master.
