What manga and light novels does Seven Seas Entertainment publish?

With over 500 releases, Seven Seas Entertainment has grown into one of the largest independent manga and light novel publishers. And there is something for everyone on their list.

Fans will love big-name titles like Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – the manga, light novel, and Roxy Gets Serious spin-off series out now – and Made In Abyss, which has a second season for anime fans this summer expected to recognize immediately.

Sci-fi titles, cozy slice-of-life series, and whimsical love stories like Darling in the Franxx, A Centaur’s Life, and The Ancient Magus’ Bride respectively are just a few examples of the sheer diversity in Seven Seas Entertainment’s growing roster of manga and light novels.

In addition to new hits, Seven Sea Entertainment also releases classics. Go Nagai’s Devilman and Monkey Punch’s Lupine III grace the collection. And The Legend of Dororo and Hyakkimaru – a reboot of Osamu Tezuka’s 1960s Dororo manga – is currently in publication, with Volume 5 coming out on September 27th.

Seven Seas Entertainment’s roster isn’t limited to manga and light novels either. Many manhwa and webtoons series, including the psychological horror series Killing Stalking and Witch Buster – a shounen series that pits wizards against witch hunters – have also become part of their catalogue.

How can I get my favorite manga published in English?

Language often represents a barrier between fans and compelling manga and light novel titles. Luckily, Seven Seas has a survey on their website where fans can request new works for licensing. It goes without saying that the licensing and translation process cannot be done at the push of a button. But with enough fans requesting their favorite titles, they’re one step closer to a bookstore near you!

Those who complete the survey will not go unrewarded. Through May 7, fans can receive a coupon code for 30% off their Bookwalker purchase on Seven Seas Entertainment titles. Act fast to get a discount on your favorite manga and light novels!

And with the coupon, you can pre-order manga or light novels from your favorite manga creators. Although there is no guarantee that other publications by this author will be licensed, good sales speak for themselves. This is a great way to ensure creators and publishers alike are incentivized to create more content.

Those who are short on cash need not be left out either. If you go to your local library and request media from Seven Seas Entertainment, you may be able to borrow your favorite manga and light novels for yourself and others! Check out Overdrive to also find eBooks available at your local library.
