When Shelly Ehler took to the stage in front of Shark Tank’s woke investors and demanded $50,000 for a 25 percent stake in her ShowNo Towel business, she was hoping it would be another popular product to come after that would make a name show. When all was said and done, she walked away with a check from Lori Greiner for $75,000 in exchange for that 25% equity. Later, in episode 13 of season 3, fans received an update on Ehler’s business. By this time, Greiner had brought the ShowNo towel to Disney and secured a deal to sell it at their water parks. Fans got to see it the moment Ehler spotted her product on Disney Store shelves. Although seemingly exploding with success, the ShowNo towel has become a no-show today.
Despite their incredible experience with Disney, SharkTankBlog reports that Disney hasn’t backordered to date. With no deal in hand, Ehler closed up shop for a while before trying the business again. However, according to her Facebook page, it became too much for her. “So it’s time to throw in the towel again,” she posted! “I reopened my shop 2 years ago with a new purpose of ‘helping those who need help and wrapping them in love’ and I firmly believe in that purpose but I just don’t have the drive and commitment to do it to realize.” Ehler explained in the post that she is now passionate about her new career path as a hypnotherapist.
