I have absolutely no idea how to rate this step. It’s just phenomenal what Zach Bryan is doing and has done. Conventional wisdom would be to say that he exhausts the crowds, overloads them with music and risks disfellowshipping his only one-month-old child American heartbreak The album that still enjoys plenty of momentum with such an early re-release. But this is Zack Bryan, and he’s done nothing but defy tradition from the start, and he’s had immense success at it. He completely rewrites everything we know about music.
So go ahead and release a new album. We will soon find out how all this will turn out. The album contains some songs that many die-hard Zach Bryan fans are already familiar with. One such track is called “Oklahoma Smoke Show,” which he recently performed live, as well as the title track, “Summertime Blues,” which is, no, not the old Eddie Cochran tune that was once a nuisance and a howler. Brian first attempted to release “Summertime Blues” but had some permissions issues getting in the way, but has since resurfaced on YouTube (see below).
Apparently the album ended up being a little short, but stuff was added, including a song called “Jamie” that accidentally slipped onto the track listing. Brian continues to refer to the album as an EP.
