Yoshimura Japan Cyclone GP-Magnum105 exit is just around the corner. The Japanese company will be releasing the new Slip-On whistle by September this year, and it will be available in three colors and feature a vintage design that goes well with the GB’s retro look.
Yoshimura is Japan’s first muffler for the Honda GB350 and one of many for the other Big H models. The muffler body is rounded and has a retro look with a cylindrical tube and stainless steel tailpipe. It’s a simple design that fits the GB’s retro look. It is available in a variety of finishes including stainless steel, stainless steel with a black carbon finish and finally burnt titanium.
Style aside, all mufflers are JMCA certified and meet the requirements of Japan Motor Vehicle Inspection, Japan Noise Regulations, and Japan Emission Regulations.
According to Yoshimura, power and torque will improve once this system is installed. Performance benefits include weight savings, power gains and increased torque. Leaving the stock system and using this muffler reduces weight by 1.3 kilograms, or about 2.87 pounds, on the ultra-light Titanium model. The Titanium model shed almost a third of the weight compared to the GB’s 3.4 kg (7.50 lb) stock tube. While weight savings figures were released, power and torque gains were not mentioned by the brand.
To let you know that this is a Yoshimura whistle, the brand has placed its signature logo on the rear end of the silencer, which is made of metal and has embossed details and texture.
For around USD 375 (JPY 50,000) you can purchase the GP-Magnum105 Cyclone for Honda GB350. Of course, “Yoshimura Quality” is part of the product, but the brand also comes with a two-year product guarantee. If you want to buy this exhaust, you still have to wait a little longer for Yoshimura to hit the market. The release date of this product is set for September 2022 with no specific release date mentioned.
